For a democractic and globally just raw-materials-policy

The German Federal Government depends on the import of metallic, mineral and fossile raw materials. The extraction of these raw materials takes place at the expense of the environment and human rights. These implications are not adequately taken into account by the German Federal Government when it supports the industry in order to increase security of supply.
Today’s global challenges call for a different, a democratic and globally just raw-materials-policy. The goals must be to:

reduce raw material consumption
protect human rights effectively
protect and strengthen civil society
